QA Academic staff and teaching
1) International and local recruitment of Full-Time Academics (FTAs)
and part time teachers in accordance with international practice
(shortlisting, interview, job market seminars) and appointment by
IAC.
2) Academic review and promotion system for FTAs (evaluation of all
academic activities, tenure track) and periodic review for part-time
teachers (evaluation on the basis of exam results, peer review
visits, student surveys).
3) System of teachers’ support and development: induction seminars,
teaching methods workshops, on-line seminars with TLC of LSE.
4) Quality of teaching:
- Feedback from students (regular surveys, students and lecturers
meetings).
- Students’ self-study is supported by teaching materials, study
guides, readers, past exam papers, marking schemes, available via
information systems).
- Scrutiny committee meetings of examiners.
- Students performance monitoring.
