Also can served for your special valve requests. 2-Floating Ball Valve AKVEM floating ball valves proposed for small dimensions up to DN150/6". It designed by engineering department with low torque, high tightness and long lifetime. Additionally, Akvem can served special ball valves under your request. 3-Fire Safe Akvem ball valves are designed as Fire Safe to API 6FA, API 607, and ISO 10497. Akvem soft seating ball valves can be designed with fire safe as optional in order to prevent leakage in case of fire. 4- Soft-seated valves In valves designed for standard service, a resilient material is seated on the metal body to provide a soft seating action in addition to the metal to metal seating between the ball and the seat rings. On request, secondary seats can be used as graphite in order to be %100 tightness in case of fire. 5- Metal-seated valves Valves designed for abrasive service or for operation in temperatures that prohibit the use of a resilient material have seating action provided by the metal-to-metal contact between the ball and the seat rings. IZMIT/KOCAELI-TURKEY ∙ Email: [email protected] Floating Ball Valve-ANSI 6- Anti Blow-out Stem Akvem all valves have been designed with an anti-blow-out stem to prevent the ejection by internal pressure when the stem retainer has been removed. The stem design does not preclude replacement of damaged stem seals. 7-Anti Statik Dizagn In all AKVEM ball valves an anti-static spring loaded device assures electric continuity, with controlled low resistance, between the ball and the valve body and between the stem and the valve body. 8- Extended Stem / Bonnet Extended bonnets and stems are available for valves working in extreme low or high temperatures (below – 46°C and above 200°C) to increase the distance between the body and the sealing area of the stem. Engineerign department offer the best extension for your ball valves with optimasation studies. 9-Actuator and Top Flange-ISO 5211 All AKVEM ball valves is proper for electirical or pneumatic actuators as ISO 5211. Additionally AKVEM has R&D study for new design which provides safety in case of fire, valve open/close position can shifted manually by lever.
