A-10C THUNDERBOLT II VERSION 1 BY PERAL INTRODUCTION hello, and thank you for choosing my mod. My goal with this mod is to bring a new level of play to arma 3. With help of other arma community members, my goal is closer. The a-10c is still in the works and many Features are still not complete. The CCIP and CCRP weapon systems are still being worked and are not in this alpha release. Other systems including the option to disable parts of the Interactive cockpit and Tactical Awareness Display (TAD) are in the works for a later release. I also plan on updates to the model and textures. Note this is not DCS nor is the a10 based off of dcs. thank you Peral A-10C Thunderbolt II PAGE | 1 INFORMATION The A-10 Thunderbolt II is an American twin-engine, straight-wing jet aircraft developed by Fairchild-Republic in the early 1970s. The only United States Air Force aircraft designed solely for close air support of ground forces, the A-10 was built to attack tanks, armored vehicles, and other ground targets with limited air defenses. The A-10 single-seat variant was the only version built, though one A-10A was converted to the A-10B twinseat version. In 2005, a program was begun to upgrade A-10A aircraft to the A-10C configuration. The AIM-9X Sidewinder is a short-range air-to-air missile. Missile is dependable on built in infra red homing system. The AGM-65 Maverick is an air-to-ground tactical missile designed for close air support. It is effective against a wide range of tactical targets, including armour, air defences, ships, ground transportation and fuel storage facilities. The GBU-12 PAVEWAY II laser-guided bomb is an American aerial bomb, based on the Mk 82 500pound general-purpose bomb, but with the addition of a nose-mounted laser seeker and fins for guidance. The (GBU32) Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM) is a guidance kit that converts unguided bombs. JDAM-equipped bombs are guided by an integrated inertial guidance system coupled to a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver. the GBU-38/B is a 500lb JDAM (Joint Direct Attack Munition) manufactured by Boeing using the Mk82 bomb body.
