Jan currently holds the position as Secretary General at ASD, the AeroSpace
and Defence Industries Association of Europe. With 28 national associations
from 20 countries as members, ASD in all represents more than 2000
companies, 750 000 employees and an annual turnover of 185 billion Euros, in
the aeronautics, defence and security sectors of Europe.
Chairman of ICCAIA
the International Coordinating Council of Aerospace Industries Associations.
ICCAIA coordinates the interaction of the Aerospace industries in Europe, the
US, Canada, Brazil, Japan and Russia with the UN agency, International Civil
Aviation Organization, ICAO.
PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT
2010-2013
Secretary General, SOFF
Jan held the position as Secretary General for the Swedish Security and
Defence Industries association, situated in Stockholm for three years. SOFF
had 65 member companies with 30 000 employees and an annual turnover of 3
billion Euros.
1995-2010
Senior Vice President and Emergency preparedness Director at the SOS
Alarm Group.
CEO of a Subsidary in the company group.
Jan served for 15 years as a Director in the Swedish Company Group, SOS
Alarm, of which 10 was as Senior Vice President. Jan’s work focused on the
civil crises management system in Sweden.
Jan was also CEO of a subsidiary in the company group.
EDUCATION
Jan’s educational background is in the insurance and business sector.

Jan attended the Solbacka chief programme at IHT/SNDC, The Institute for

member of SERA 23, in 2011.
