The formation and establishmentof the Interim Committee was facilitated by Prof Christo de Coning on 2'J-and 22 M a r c ha n d t h e F a c i l i t a t i o n T e a m ,i n c l u d i n gC e l e s t i n eD o n o u g ha n d l r m a K l u e ,m a n a g e dt h i s p r o c e s s o v e r a n L 8 m o n t h p e r i o da n d f o l l o w i n gf o u r c o n s u l t a t i v w e orkshops. The primary objective of the Provincial Interim Committee is to consult with all racing pigeon organisationsin the Western Cape on the compositionand membership of a future Western Cape ProvincialRacingPigeon Organisation(the name of which is still to be confirmed) and secondly,to facilitate the nomination and election of the ProvincialOrganisationfor its first term of Office.The Interim Committee will secondlyalso advise on the development of a Draft Constitution as well as a strategic Agenda. The Provincialorganisation will primarily focus on the strategic management of the racing pigeon sport in the Western province.
