Installation
Installing your ANPI Fax Line Smart ATA (Analog Telephone Adaptor) unit is
easy, and only takes a few minutes. Just follow these simple steps.
1. Plug one end of the included power adapter into a power outlet, and the
other end into the Smart ATA power port (DC12V).
2. Connect one end of a Cat 5 patch cable into the WAN jack on the rear of
the Smart ATA, and the other end into your Local Area Network (LAN).
3. Using a standard telephone cord, connect your fax machine’s “Line In” port
to the “Phone 1” jack on the rear of the Smart ATA unit.
Your fax machine should now be ready to send and receive faxes. For more
information on your Fax Line, or to view your fax call logs, go to your ANPI VIP
Customer Administrator Portal at vip.anpi.com.
