RALLY FOR RORY: On Saturday, January 25th, there will be
a life benefit for Rory Williams at the Valley Bar and Grill in
Prescott, WI. Rory was born in May 2013 with a rare genetic
disorder called Miller Dieker Syndrome. Rory battles daily
seizures, difficulty breathing, is developmentally delayed, and
is fed through a feeding tube. To help raise funds for the
medical expenses, the benefit will have a bake sale, silent
auction, and a raffle. The benefit starts at 4pm with a pulled
pork sandwich meal: $10 for adults and $5 for children.
CONCERT ASSOCIATION- ABBA: Thank You for the Music- an ABBA tribute super group will bring all of the Swedish
pop super groups biggest hits to life. Join them as they turn
back time, and relive all you favorite moments from ABBA. The
concert will be held on January 29th.
DUMB CRIMINAL: Instead of ending up in the drunk tank after
having a little too much to drink, a British man got a ride home
from two concerned police officers who left him with a funny
note instead of a fine. A man from Watford, identified only as
David, woke up on Sunday morning and found a note from
“Cagney and Lacey.” For those not up on their ‘80s television,
those names are the title of a series about female New York
detectives. The officers discovered David too drunk to stand
around 2 a.m. on Sunday. “We found you staggering in the
road on your way home from Watford. You were so drunk we
were worried you wouldn’t get home in one piece! So we gave
you a lift home. Please don’t get that drunk again.”
