Bangalore Marathon-2014 will be held on 19/10/2014 at Sri Kanteerava
stadium from 4-30 am to 11-30 am. Following are the traffic arrangements for the
route of Marathon and also other alternate routes to be taken by the General
Public.
Route Map – Marathon
42.195 KM – 5.00 AM
Sree Kanteerava Stadium main entrance on to Kasturba Rd. >> Left against the
traffic towards Cubbon Park Entrance (near udson circle) >> Straight past
library >> Exit cubbon park gate (high court gate) >> Right turn at GPO towards
Queens Road till Queen’s statue(against traffic) >> Right at queen’s statue
inside Cubbon park >> Past band stand and KSLTA fountain circle and left turn
(along traffic) >> Get out of Cubbon park gate at Siddalingaiah junction >> Left
on to Kasturba road (along with traffic)>> Right at Queen’s statue circle on to
MG road (along with traffic) >> Left turn at anil kumble circle towards cubbon
road (along traffic) >> Right at BRV circle on to – cubbon road >> Left at
Dickenson road and immediate right onto Ulsoor Rd. >> Left at Kensington
road towards Ulsoor lake >> Left at Begum Mahal circle onto Gangadhar Chetty
Road >> Straight along the outer perimeter of ulsoor lake (against traffic on
Gangadhar Chetty road > Annaswami Mudaliar Rd > Kensington road) and joins
back on begum mahal circle >> Straight towards trinity circle >> Straight at
trinity circle towards Old airport road (along traffic) >> Left on Domlur flyover
towards indiranagar 100ft Rd KFC Junction (along traffic) >> U-Turn at 500mts
after KFC / CMH Junction and then back towards Domlur flyover >> Over the
domlur flyover on to 100ft inner ring road >>Straight towards Ejipura and Sony
