The operating panel CNC783 Emulator is a replacement for the old panel (cabinet version) of a
HK CNC783 control. The emulator panel is based on the hardware of the CNC 920 operating panel.
(touch- screen and interfaces for control and peripherials)
The CNC783- functionality is reached through complete software- emulation. When later an update
from a CNC783 control to a modern CNC920 system is needed, only the firmware of the panel has
to be updated. That way you can get a fully featured CNC920 operating panel, sparing extra capital
spending.
Among the new features of the emulator panel is to mention the user programable serial interface
(for connecting the CNC783- system to other RS232 devices such as PC´s) and the possibility to
display extra information on the panel.
