2013 H2 Physics A-Level Result for The Physics Cafe.
Close to 10 out of 10 students
scored A or B
Close to 8 out of 10 students scored A
Note: The statistical studies include tuition students who join The Physics Cafe Tuition Programme more
than 6 months before the A-level and students who have not missed any school holiday lessons.
Close to 8 out of 10 students in The Physics Cafe taking the A-level H2 Physics Exam in 2013 scored A for
the paper. This is an exceptional result from the class of 2013. We have achieved a 77% A, almost doubling
the national average of 40%!
Given that we took in students from all schools without an entry test, we are proud at the amazing
performance, breaking The Physics Cafe’s record and even breaking all IP schools record. The percentage
of A for all IP school (RI, RVHS, HCI, VJC, NJC, TJC) is 55-70% while the percentage of A for most of the
remaining JC range widely from 10 to 40 % to give you a steady average 40 % nationwide.
In addition, we are happy to announce that close to 10 out of 10 students in The Physics Cafe scored A or
B, a grade which will play a significant role in helping them choose the course and university they want.
Congratulations to The Physics Cafe Tuition Class of 2013 for exceeding expectations as we look forward to
another exciting journey with the class of 2014. With the support from the school teachers, parents and
students, we are confident of achieving our target again.
