GETTING STARTED
24-Hour Online Banking provides secure and convenient access to
your updated account information along with so much more! Schedule
transfers, pay bills, receive e-alerts, update your important contact
information and manage cash flow … all at your fingertips online or
with your mobile device.
Getting Started with 24-Hour Online Banking
When Logging In for the first time:
• Your User ID is your Advia CU Account number
preceded by ‘A’
(example account number
12345 = A12345)
• Your initial password is the word ‘ADVIA’ followed by
the last 4-digits of primary account holder’s Social
Security Number (example – ADVIA6789)
Note – a password change will be required following initial login
Important Notes for Enrollment
You’ll be asked to confirm your email address and
agreement to terms and conditions of accessing
24-Hour Online Banking and Bill Pay. You will be asked
to select from a gallery of identifying graphics known as
a ‘watermark’ for your account as well as three security
questions that you can easily answer but would be
difficult for another to guess. Lastly, you will be asked to
create a password reset Q&A.
It’s all about selecting OPTIONS!
Once you’re complete with your set up of New 24-Hour
Online banking, visit the Options tab, which allows you
to do any of the following:
• Select Your Own Unique User ID and Password
• Personalize the naming of your account types
• Establish a password reset security question
• Set up E-Alerts such as balance notifications, security
alerts and even personalized alerts such as birthday
reminders!
• Enable your mobile device for mobile
and text banking
• Enroll for e-Statements to enable 14-months of
statement history
Manage Your Money and Open New Accounts
The My Accounts tab is the default view of your Advia
CU accounts, which is important in allowing you to view
account summary information, schedule stop payments
on checks, reorder checks and schedule one-time or
recurring transfers to other Advia CU accounts on file.
It’s here that you can also open new Savings and CDs
24-hours a day!
Setting Up Future Direct Deposits into your Account
In order to schedule future direct deposits into any
of your available savings or checking, you’ll need to
provide your account 13-digit MICR code to your payroll
provider. To find your account MICR information,
simply choose the ‘Select Option’ drop down near
your desired account type followed by ‘Account Info’.

USING CONVENIENT BILL PAY
Please use this helpful guide in navigating set up and important features
available with Advia Online Bill Pay. You may also visit us online for a
complete Online Demo to help walk you through all of the tools
you will enjoy!
Getting Enrolled with Bill Pay
Following Online Banking Enrollment:
Select the Bill Pay Tab to begin enrollment and
agree to terms of using this convenient service.
Bill Pay is Convenient, Simple and FREE
Bill pay allows you to schedule one time or recurring
payments to any person or company. You can even set
up special payment alert notices and select to receive
e-bills when available through your payee.
How Payments are Processed (and funds withdrawn from your account)
You’ll notice that when scheduling a payment, you’ll see
the Deliver by Date – this is the date your payment
will be electronically received to the payee. Below the
Deliver by date you will see the Process Date – this
is the date funds will be withdrawn from your
Advia CU Checking
If the payee is not set up to receive funds
electronically, a check will be mailed on the Process
Date. In these cases, funds will not be withdrawn
from your account until the payee processes the
mailed check.
Take the Short Cut View (an easier way to view payees and schedule payments)
There’s a faster way to pay … and speed up your
payment scheduling. Within the Bill Pay Options tab,
select Default Settings and then Short Cut.
You’ll enjoy a view of all your payees pre-loaded as
your default view as well as any anticipated payments
you might want to schedule based on how you’ve
paid bills historically.
Pay Your Pals (person-to-person payment option)
When setting up a Payee, you can also elect to
Add a Person. There’s a one-time set up process, so
you will need the individual’s email address. A unique
Activation Code will be submitted to allow activation.
Your recipient will also have to complete a onetime activation process by providing a reply with the
activation security test word you establish.
Once complete, you can easily schedule ongoing
payments from your computer or phone to pay
friends online!

MOBILE & TEXT BANKING
Stay updated while on the go – it’s getting easier with Mobile Web,
Mobile Banking & Text Banking! Please use this helpful guide in
navigating set up and convenient features available to with your
smart phone or tablet.
Getting Enrolled With Mobile & Text Banking
Advia Mobile Banking allows you to transfer funds,
pay bills and view account balances with your tablet or
smart phone.
Once logged inton24-Hour Online Banking, Select
the Options Tab, followed by Mobile Settings.
You’ll then see both the Web Mobile Settings and
Text Mobile Settings areas to enable your mobile
device for both Mobile & Text Banking.
Download Your Mobile App
Once you’ve enabled your device within the Options
tab, take the next step by downloading our App to your
iPhone or Android.
Have another type of smart phone? Just visit our
mobile web to access with your smartphone.
Text for Balance Updates & More!
Once you’ve enabled your mobile phone settings within
the Text Mobile Settings tab, select the accounts you
want to enjoy text access from your mobile phone, and
enter your own mobile short names for each account
(Example Checking: CKG).
Complete the set up process by confirming and
submitting your enrollment. Review text commands
available, such as:
Once set up online, simply text your code provided
(see message at top of screen) to 89549. This is the
number you’ll text your commands in order to receive
information to your phone. To finalize enrollment, you
must respond Yes to a confirmation text which will be
sent to your phone.
• Bal = All selected accounts current balance
• Bal Mobile Short Name
(example – Bal CKG) = Single Account Balance
• Hist = All selected accounts recent activity
• Hist Moble Short Name
(example – Hist CKG) = Single Account recent History
About your Balance: On both mobile and text
banking the balance shown is your current balance,
but may not reflect your available balance pending
outstanding electronic transactions.

Services tab to enroll for this free service. Make sure

My Finance – Your Budget Software Tool
Within the My Finance Tab, you’re able to establish
your own financial goals, create a budget and help
manage your expenditures within household finance
categories to help stay on top of where your money is
going. You will see an online suite of helpful tips when
using this important financial management tool.
24-Hour Access to your Visa Card Information
Within online banking, select your My Card Info tab
to view up to date Advia CU Visa Platinum Credit Card
activity, balance information and even to help you
redeem valuable points earned if you hold one of our
Visa Platinum with Advantage Points cards!
External Transfers – Transferring to and from other Financial Institutions
You’re now able to conveniently transfer funds into your
Advia account from other financial institutions or from
your account with us to another bank or credit union.
To get started, select the Additional Services tab to
follow prompts. The first time you set up an account to
receive or send funds, there is a multi-step process
to confirm security of your future transactions. Please
download the helpful tips for important steps. Once
set up, future transfers will be a breeze!
Open New Savings and Certificates 24-Hours a Day!
Why come to a branch when you can open additional
sub-share savings and Certificates of Deposit easily
online? From the My Accounts tab, simply select
Open New Savings. You’ll be able to walk through the
final opening agreement for various savings accounts
as well as termed Certificates of Deposit (certain
account type restrictions apply).

TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS
We’re here to help when you experience difficulty in using our online
services. Call or even chat with us online to help walk you through any
problems you’re encountering. Here are some helpful Troubleshooting
Tips for Using 24-Hour Online Banking.
Having difficulty getting Set Up for Online Banking
If you are attempting to self enroll online by providing
your social security number, account number and email
address, you may experience difficulty if your email
address or other information being submitted does not
match what is held on file. If you experience difficulty
in accessing any of our online services, please contact
us at (866) 993-2328 and we will help correct any
information and get your enrollment completed.
Having difficulty viewing pages?
Select pages such as e-Statements and My Card
Info within 24-Hour Online Banking open new
windows in order to view, which may require you to
disable your pop up blocker if these are currently
enabled. You may select to allow our site as an
allowed site while maintaining blocks on other
online sites.
Minimum Operating Requirements
Minimum operating requirements of your PC to access
Online Banking and Bill Payment include having a PC
with established Internet Service Provider and 128 Bit
Encryption Security. Browser Minimum Compatibility:
Internet Explorer 9.0; Windows Vista or 7 or 8;
Difficulty Viewing Check Images
Check images will be viewable only when the check
was deposited outside of our financial institution and
has not been converted to an electronic check at time
of deposit by the payee.
Mac OS X; Mozilla Firefox v24; Safari v5.1.10 (MAC
Only); Google Chrome v30. Please note as new
browser updates are introduced, support is continued
on the last 3 major releases of these browsers.
