Aim of the
workshop
Target
participants
is to familiarize the use of ICF to practicing disability and
rehabilitation professionals and to help them incorporate the
standards in their professional practice.
Special Educators, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Rehabilitation Social workers,
Clinical Psychologists, Counselors, Rehabilitation Engineers,
Academics related to disability and rehabilitation.
The International Classification of
Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF)
has been developed by the World
Health Organization (WHO) to describe
functioning levels and disability status
of individuals. The overall aim of the
ICF classification is to provide a unified,
standard language and framework for
the description of health and
health-related states.
