About Us
Cable Systems Limited was formed in 1982 by Ron Rigby who had been in the electrical
industry for many years and was able to offer sound technical advice on all of the
company`s products. After a period of growth, the company was taken over by his son,
Jonathan Rigby, in 1992 and 3 years later the company acquired JK Electrical to offer a
wider range of industrial products to our existing and future customers.
Initially the company dealt primarily with the stocking of industrial products but now the
stock profile has grown to include mainly hazardous area products. Geographically, the
company is ideally situated being within one mile of the M62 and M6 motorways, thus
enabling the company to compliment its stock profile with a first class delivery service
which is required and demanded by the electrical trade. The company’s personnel have
been in the electrical industry for many years and are able to offer sound technical advice
on the products we stock.
The nature of Cable Systems’ products and customers meant that to ensure continued
successful development it would be necessary to obtain third party recognition of the
company’s Quality Management Systems which it did in January 1991.
Today the growth and progress continues to put Cable Systems at the forefront, as a key
supplier to the industrial and hazardous industry.

HTS - Hawke
Transit System
HTS are a manufacturer of Cable and Pipe
Modular Sealing Systems.
The company has over 30 years’ experience in product development,
system design, supply and installation and has supplied major projects in
a variety of industries around the world. The Hawke Transit System (HTS)
was first developed over 30 years ago to meet the harsh and hazardous
demands of the North Sea Oil Industry.
As a fire barrier it is a means to maintain the
integrity of a firewall, bulkhead or deck through
which cables, pipes and other services pass.
It will also seal against and exhibit resistance
to: Water, Gas, Smoke, Vermin, Radiation,
Chemicals, Explosion, Ultra Violet Light, EMC
and exhibits Noise attenuation properties.

HB Type Transformer Breathers.
The HB desiccant breather is ideal for a large range of transformer sizes.
The charge is constructed from high strength polycarbonate with the
additional protection of a polythene coated metal screen, it's identical die
cast end plates are sealed in position to form a very strong unit.
Sizes 1, 2, 3 and 4 tapped to accept ¾
B.S.P.P.
Sizes 5 and above supplied with standard
hole positions to accept a flanged fixing to
BS10 table D (1" pipe).
