2014 Deer Assist Us With Our Hunters Mandatory submission of all deer heads is REQUIRED from WMUs 102, 116, 118, 119, 124, 144, 148, 150, 151, 152, 160, 162, 163, 164, 200, 202, 203, 204, 230, 232, 234, 236, 238, 254, 256, 258, 500, 728, and 730 for CWD testing. Voluntary submission of deer heads is requested from WMUs 138, 142, 156, 166. Precise location of each kill is required, either GPS or Sec/Twp/Rng, in addition to the WMU. Our CWD-labelling system provides a unique identification number for each head submitted. Heads should be kept frozen and dropped off at any Fish and Wildlife office or at any of the 24-hr freezers located in the following list. Check page 16 of the 2014 Alberta Guide to Hunting Regulations for office phone numbers. Call ahead to check office hours. Green CWD labels and instructions are available when you submit the deer head. RESULTS: All hunters are encouraged to visit albertarelm.com to view their CWD test results. When your results are available, a message will be sent to your email address. Only those hunters NOT registered on AlbertaRELM will receive a letter delivered via Canada Post.
