CAN YOU SEE YOURSELF IN WASHINGTON D.C. IN SUMMER 2015? Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF) Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF) is a week-long 4-H citizenship program that takes place at the National 4-H Youth Conference Center in Washington, D.C. Participants will learn from and meet young people from across the nation, strengthen their civic engagement understanding and skills, experience Washington D.C., and develop and implement a CWF: Call to Action plan back home. Workshops, Arlington Cemetery Capitol Hill Visits with Elected Officials and Tour, National Sites Visits Workshops and Congressional Session, National Sites Visits Delegation Day at the National Mall, Closing Ceremonies Depart for Home Evening Arrival in Minnesota WHO CAN ATTEND ONE group of 55 (50 youth and 5 adult chaperone advisors), first-come, first served. Age Requirement: Interested youth must be enrolled in the 4-H Youth Development program. Interested youth must have completed the ninth grade by June 20, 2015 and be at least age 14. If graduated from high school in the spring of 2015, the applicant must be age 19 or younger through June 27, 2015.
