Projects The overall research objective within the team “Land Surface Dynamics“ is on answering of pressing and socially relevant, applied research questions in the context of global change. This is achieved through application-oriented development of concepts, methods, and information products exploiting the full potential of remote sensing data. These activities are directed towards the support of national and international stakeholders and decision makers from the fields of politics, planning, industry, and science. The team “Land Surface Dynamics” participates in numerous projects both as coordinating lead and as project partner. The most important current and completed projects are listed below. Additionally, the team cooperates with universities and research institutes in the supervision of PhD students, master students, and interns, and is furthermore involved in lecturing, and the design of training courses. Interested candidates are kindly asked to contact the team leader.
