Benefits of the non-invasive
The Venus 1000 system
• Real time, continuous, • Heart Failure Clinics
• No incision = no risk
• Coronary Care CVP system include:
and easy to use
• Reduced costs
• Reduced wait times for testing
and inpatient settings
• Can be used in outpatient A safer and easier way to measure CVP non-invasively.
The Venus 1000 CVP System is a non-invasive central
venous pressure (CVP) measurement system that
utilizes the proven science of NIRS. Approved by
Health Canada & having received CE Marking,
the Venus 1000 has been shown to be clinically
equivalent * to measurements made by catheterization.
CVP is ideal for use in:
• Intensive Care • Emergency Rooms
• Anaesthesia
• Echo Labs
• Cath Labs
Technical Specifications:
Accuracy ±1 mmHg, Resolution ±1mmHg, Sensitivity ±1mmHg
Making painful catheterization a thing of the past.
Using the Venus 1000 System, CVP measurements
can be conducted without the risk, pain, time and
costs associated with catheterization. Instead, an
adhesive patch is placed over the external jugular
vein that measures CVP, displaying it and the
corresponding waveform in seconds.
The Venus 1000 System consists of a handheld
display unit with a pressure cable and sensor and
tube, and docking station for calibration & charging.
Available for sale throughout Canada and Europe
