Liability Irrespective of Culpability in European Private Law. During his doctoral studies,
Christoph Oertel worked as a scientific assistant at the professorship for International Private
Law, Comparative Law and German Law, University of Geneva.
Christoph Oertel has studied law at the Universities of Cologne, Paris I (Pantheon-Sorbonne)
and Humboldt-University Berlin. He passed his first state exam in Berlin and his second state
exam in Hamburg.
