THE DOP SUBMERSIBLE DREDGE PUMP
A MULTIFUNCTIONAL DREDGING TOOL
Damen offers a complete range of heavy-duty and
cost-effective submersible dredge pumps.
These compact DOP pumps are directly powered by
a hydraulic motor, mounted in a protective casing.

The robust casing can be fitted out with a large array of
suction heads, which results in a versatile dredging tool
fit for a broad range of tasks.
A highly efficient, wear resistant dredge pump with a
large spherical passage is at the heart of the DOP pump.
The dredge pump has excellent suction properties and
because of it’s submersed use it can reach extremely high
mixture densities.
DOP pumps are designed to be user friendly and for ease
of maintenance. For instance, a cartridge-type mechanical
shaft seal that does not require grease or gland water is
fitted. Inspections of the impeller can be made simply by
using the inspection hatch, which is integrated into the
suction pipe. A large array of optional suction heads and
accessories makes the DOP pump indispensable for your
dredging job.

THE VERSATILE DOP SUBMERSIBLE DREDGE PUMP AT WORK
DOP200 UNLOADING BARGES
The DOP is used to unload barges filled with
harbour sludge. Sufficient transport water is added
and the DOP pump discharges the mixture.
DOP350 ON CRANE
The DOP is pumping sand attached to a crane boom.
The dredge pump’s hydraulic drive is powered by the
crane’s hydraulic system.
DOP150 WITH SPECIAL CUTTER HEAD
The DOP ensures the success of dredging projects.
Here, a special suction head for cutting layers of clay
was designed to add to the standard DOP pump.

DOP350L OPERATING IN A CONFINED SPACE
As the DOP is a compact tool, it fits perfectly in the
restricted building pit of an underground carpark or
tunnel for instance.
