DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION
Cables from 1 to 50 PE insulated conductors of 0.9, 1.4 and 1.8 mm. Conductors are
stranded in concentric layers to form the core which is protected by a reinforced
polyethylene sheath. They are used as control cables up to 100 Hz signals, especially in
rail infrastructures. Suitable for installation in ducts or directly buried.
CONSTRUCTION







Conductors: Annealed copper solid wire, 0.9, 1.4 and 1.8 mm diameter.
Insulation: Solid polyethylene .(2Y)
Cabling element: PE insulated conductors + 2 insulation-perforated conductors
of 0,5 mm (≥14 conductors) to detect water presence.
Lay-up. Stranded into Layers.
Core wrapping: non-hygroscopic polyester tape longitudinally applied with
overlap.
Outer sheath: Reinforced polyethylene. (2YV)
Sheath marks : The sheath shall be marked, at irregular intervals with the
following information:
