ANNUAL BREEDERS EDG®E AUCTION
August 22, 23 & 24, 2014
CONSIGNMENT AGREEMENT
1. A consignment fee of $2,000 per alpaca, payable to Double “O” Good/Breeders Edge® LLC,
is due by May 1, 2014. Crias that sell with their Dams will not be charged an additional
consignment fee. Payment should be mailed with your completed entry forms to:

2. A commission of 5% will be charged on all sales/no sales and deducted from the balance of
the sale proceeds. A minimum commission of $325 will be collected on all animals
including no sales. Each consignor must sign a credit card authorization prior to the
auction for their commission in the event their animal does not sell. ARIs will not be
given back to consignor until settlement of auction proceeds.
3. Consignor warrants:
a. that their title to the Alpaca is free and clear of any liens, encumbrances, security
interests, or other impediments to clear title of any kind.
b. the Alpaca is ARI registered.
c. the Alpaca is reserved exclusively for sale at the Breeders Edge® Auction. Should the
Alpaca be withdrawn from the sale, all substitutions and fee refunds are subject to
approval by Breeders Edge.
d. the Alpaca was born on their farm and/or has their farm name on the ARI as the
owner of the Sire or Dam.
4. All alpacas sold will be subject to the Terms and Conditions as set forth in the Breeders
Edge® Alpaca Auction 2014 Catalog.

5. All consigned alpacas must have the following:
a. Interstate health certificate and test negative for TB and Brucellosis within 30 days
prior to the sale. Blue Tongue is optional.
b. BVD negative PCR or VI.
c. Clinical examination filled out by a DVM within 30 days prior to the sale.
d. If applicable, proof of pregnancy by either ultrasound or progesterone blood test,
signed by a DVM within 30 days prior to the sale.
e. Current health record specifying most recent de-worming and vaccinations.
f. Negative fecal.
6. The sale of the Alpaca is a contractual transaction between the Consignor and the Buyer. Any
and all additional agreements, contracts and terms between the Consignor and the Buyer are
the Consignor’s responsibility and Breeders Edge® has no responsibility or liability thereof.
7. Double “O” Good/Breeders Edge®, LLC is authorized to accept payment for the Alpaca
once the Alpaca is sold, and to deduct from the payment, the full consignment commission,
plus all outstanding amounts owed to Breeders Edge®.
8. If Consignor sells the Alpaca with financing terms, Breeders Edge® will collect only the
down payment, which must be sufficient to cover all commissions and payments due to
Breeders Edge®. Double “O” Good/Breeders Edge® LLC, nor Auctioneer warrants the
credit worthiness of any Buyer. Consignor is responsible for providing any and all financing
contracts and for seeing that such contracts are properly executed, enforced and collected. All
financing contracts, including promissory notes or other payment obligations and any
disputes relating to such financing contracts, are strictly between the Buyer and the
Consignor and Breeders Edge® shall have no responsibility or liability thereof.
9. Consignor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless and free from any and all liabilities,
claims, losses or expenses resulting from or related to said sale, Double “O” Good/Breeders
Edge®, LLC and its members, employees, agents, and other representatives. Consignor
understands that he/she is responsible for the enforcement and collection of the associated
debt.
