A self-made entrepreneur, author, community builder and the Chief Executive Officer of MK Visionary. This is a dynamic and vibrant consulting company that provides varying services. He runs a campaign of recuperating the youth from the morass of poverty and unemployment; he does that through the conscription of young people to actively participate in entrepreneurship as a solution to fight the detrimental scourge of youth unemployment. He wrote a published book titled “Mountains to climb” (motivational book that offers inspirations and guidance to life) this book enlightens people on the ups and downs of life and how to vanquish them tremendously. Mkhonto is currently working with other institutions namely; National Youth Development Agency, Bursary Institute of South Africa (BISA), Black Management Forum (BMF), The Department of Arts, Sports and Culture towards developing young authors in South Africa. Mkhonto works with Fundisa Bonke Foundation, an NPO that provides academic related services to the community, e.g Information on applications and bursaries for prospective students. Mkhonto is a graduate with two qualifications from the University of Johannesburg; a Bachelors degree in Development Studies and a National Diploma in Banking, Mkhonto and Honours Degree with UNISA*. As part of ploughing back to the community Mkhonto donated 150 copies of his book Mountains to climb to Mahlale High School in Bushbuckridge. Mkhonto is the founder and President of Dyondzani Youth Development. (DYD) works intimately with the Bursary Institute of South Africa (BISA). Mr Mkhonto is the founder of University of Johannesburg Youth Development, this nonprofit establishment is involved in different community outreach programmes . Mr Mkhonto is the founder of Dyondzani Youth Development , a Non- profitable organization that focuses on developing, enhancing and empowering youth with skills and knowledge and provides them with financial assistance to further their studies. Education remains to be the only paramount armament available at our disposal to deal with the challenges of poverty, crime and unemployment. Statement from Dyondzani Youth Development. In 2009, partnered with the Gauteng City Region Academy and the University of Johannesburg on the program, right to learn campaign, that saw, Vuwani Secondary School, Bukulani Secondary School, and other schools situated in getting opportunities to be expose d to university opportunities of which some have successfully completed their studies. He is to publish his second book that focuses on encouraging young people to partake on entrepreneurship as an avenue of fighting the scourge of unemployment.
