Overview
1.1 Introduction

This document is applicable to FusionCloud V100R005C10.

This document describes the configuration rules, functional modules, and additional
physical specifications of the FusionCloud desktop cloud solution.

This document must be used with the FusionCloud V100R002C01 Configuration
Manual.
The Huawei FusionCloud desktop cloud solution provides the desktop application system by
deploying virtual desktop components on cloud computing servers that work in clusters. This
solution implements centralized desktop management, data backup, and data security
protection in data centers, enhances information security, and reduces the overall management
and maintenance costs. It helps telecom carriers streamline the strategic transformation
towards integrated information carriers.
The FusionCloud desktop cloud solution has the following features:

2.2 SBOM Topology
The sales bill of material (SBOM) components includes the common, storage, server,
and access components of the FusionAccess solution, as shown in Figure 2-1.

There are three deployment solutions: FusionCloud, FusionCube, and Compact virtual
desktop infrastructure (VDI).
FusionCloud has two schemes E6000+IP SAN and E9000+IP SAN; FusionCube has
two schemes RH2288H+FusionStorage and E9000+FusionStorage.

TC service policy outside China: 5% spare parts are provided, but no warranty
service is provided. When placing a purchase order, pay attention to the
following:

The contract must include the 5% spare parts to prevent custom clearance
failure of the spare parts.
−
The number of TCs in the purchased order is the number of the actually
purchased TCs and 5% spare parts. For example, an agent purchases 100 TCs,
the number of TCs in the purchased order must be 105. Avoid spare parts
delivery failures.
−
5% spare parts are free. Therefore, provide the discount in the purchase order
to ensure that the amount is correct. For example, when 100 TCs with the unit
price of CNY 100 and discount rate of 80% are sold, the contract amount is
CNY 8000. Because 105 TCs are written in the purchased order, the discount
rate must be changed to 76.2% to ensure that the contract amount is still CNY
8000.

2.5 Server Components
2.5.1 FusionCloud Computing Node Configuration
There are two types of nodes in the E9000+IP SAN scenario, common nodes and GPU
nodes; there is only one type of nodes (common nodes) in other FusionCloud
scenarios.
For details about specific algorithm of the service node quantity, see the configuration
manual.
2.5.2 FusionCube Computing Node Configuration
The node configuration is consistent with hardware configuration. For details, see
FusionCube configuration rules.
Node Type
Quantity
MCNA
Two MCNA nodes must be configured for each project.
LCNA
One LCNA node must be configured for each project.
SCNA
SCNA nodes provide storage and computing capacities and can be
configured based on project requirements.
CNA
In the RH2288+FusionStorage scenario, CNA nodes are not required.
In the E9000+FusionStorage scenario, CNA nodes provide only
computing capacities and can be configured based on project
requirements.
