Newark Parliamentary by-election - Thursday 5th June
The Newark by-election is one of the most important ones for our Party in some time, and holding
this seat on June 5th will be a critical stepping stone on our way to winning the General Election.
We need to get a lot of people into Newark to help with delivery and canvassing, and we are appealing to
you to help. But we don't want you just to say that you will come - we want you to commit to bringing a car
full at least once between now and polling day. The Northern Team is looking after a particular part of the
constituency and someone from our team will be there all the time so you are assured a warm welcome.
We can be VERY good at responding to a challenge like this - lets show everyone just how great Team
North is.

North West Euro candidate Kevin Beaty and Chancellor George Osborne visiting Reaseheath College in
Nantwich
Sajjad Karim MEP and Chancellor George Osborne visit The Peace Centre, Warrington
Sajjad joined Rt Hon George Osborne, the Chancellor of the Exchequer and MP for Tatton, together with
local Warrington MP David Mowat, on a visit to the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Peace Centre in
Warrington. The three Conservative politicians met the founders of the charity, Colin Parry OBE and
Wendy Parry OBE and to talk with people receiving assistance as part of the Foundation for Peace’s
Survivors for Peace programme. David Mowat MP is Patron of the Foundation.

Pudsey MP Stuart Andrew firewalks for charity
Pudsey, Horsforth and Aireborough MP, Stuart Andrew has walked over red hot coals in support of a
charity supporting children who suffer with cancer.
Initially the MP agreed to attend host the event to show his support but was soon persuaded by the
organisers to take off his socks and shoes and walk over the coals bare footed. He joined other fund
raisers to support Little Heroes Cancer Trust.
Stuart Andrew MP, said, "I was initially going along to show my support for this unique fundraising event
but was soon persuaded by Lee Cindy Naylor to take part. I confess to being apprehensive particularly
when they first lit the fire, but after excellent training I somehow found the courage to have a go. It is an
experience I will not forget in a while that's for sure."
"At the end of the day, it is for a great charity and I know from my own time working at Martin House
Children's Hospice how important it is to raise funds for such deserving children."
Yorkshire and Humber Conservative Future invite you to our regional conference - Saturday June

An introductory briefing on the 2015 campaign.
Interactive training workshops on subjects such as running successful branches and campaigns.
A policy “Dragons’ Den”. A chance for attendees pitch policies to an expert panel of politicians.
The panel will include Dr Spencer Pitfield, National Director on the Conservative Policy Forum,
and other political figures soon to be confirmed.
“Political TED Talks”. A series of 10 minute talks on politically innovative or interesting subjects,
made by CF members.
Prizes for the best policy pitch and “TED Talk”.
A drinks reception.

soon.
YHCF will be supporting the York Conservative association with a campaign session on the morning
before the event. Further details are available on request.
