The European New University is a modern
and interdisciplinary educational institution. We offer many innovative degree
programmes and qualifications by way of
contemporary forms of learning. This
means students have a high degree of
flexibility to combine studying and their

ALLGEMEINES ZUM STUDIUM
International Summer School
The Summer School is an excellent opportunity for students from all over the world to
strengthen their language skills in English and
German. The programme is designed to those
who like to combine studying with intercultural
exchange.
ENU invites you to immerse into the local culture, so you will come closer to Europe with its
many facets. The campus of ENU is located in
the famous historical Abbey of Rolduc in the
small town of Kerkrade just near to the border
of Germany.
Here we are in the heart of Europe in the first
European community area with it´s wonderful
name Euregio Charlemagne. No bounderies
and no borders you will find here any more.
Free trade and free exchange between the
countries Germany, Belgium, Holland,
France and Luxembourg comes into reality.
In an authentic and valuable historical
atmosphere the international campus
houses administrative offices as well as
lecture and conference facilities. Complete room and board services for students
are also available. Rolduc, with its comprehensive range of facilities, provides
an inspiring backdrop for any meeting,
presentation or conference. The Abbey
complex has many conference rooms
with capacities varying from 10 to 450 persons.
While our highly rated academic modules are
the core of the summer school experience,
you are also encouraged to take part in an
exciting social programme and activities. The
social and cultural programme includes events
on campus and in and around Kerkrade, as
well as trips within Netherlands, Belgum and
Germany.
Our team will also offer support for those seeking to travel to one of the European Hotspots
Brussels, Amsterdam or Cologne; all designed
to help you make the most of this opportunity
to explore a different academic and cultural
environment.

Fees
2.150,- Euro
The Summer School fees includes the costs
for accomodation, the application fee, learning
material and as well costs for supporting and
supervising staff for the duration of Sommer
School.
Applications will be confirmed as soon as application and course fees are transfered. Please find payment information in application
prospectus.
After reception of application form and payment of course fees you will get the notification of approval and the official invitation letter
for applying for visa.
Insurance
Please notice that an insurance (Medical and
accident insurance / liability insurance) is obligaited while participate at Sommer School.
The European New University is not liable for
damage caused or, in the case of illness or
accidents.

Minimum 20 participants per course
Insurance fees are not included in Summer
School fees. Further information you will get
on demand. Please contact your local consultant.

Kursinhalt / Content
German and English language course
Language courses are offered at level B1 and
B2. Before application we recommend you to
evaluate your language level. In the web you
will find opportunities for online assessments.
Please visit our website or contact your local
consultant for further information.
Per day four hours language classes will be
offered. Oral expression and listening comprehension as well as reading and writing skills
are practiced intensively with authentic material. Course language is German or English.

Social and cultural activities
In addition to the language program, participants
will have the opportunity to participate in social and
cultural activities. Also sightseeing tours will be organized:

There are other activities planned such as sports,
picnics / barbecues, concerts and other organized
group activities (additional costs may arise).
Excursions to Brussels or Amsterdam are possible
but must be booked separately.
