REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) FOR:
CTAE Lab Equipment for Sims Academy
To:
All Interested Vendors
Barrow County Schools is seeking price quotes for CTAE lab equipment for the new Sims
Academy in Winder, GA. Other models with identical physical dimensions, features,
specifications, and interfaces may be considered but may also be disqualified if deemed
unsuitable by owner. Bidders may submit quotes for any or all items listed. Quotes should be by
item and not combined. Quotes should include shipping.
Proposals from bidders will be received by Barrow County Schools, 179 W. Athens St., Winder,
Georgia 30680 until 10:00 A.M. local time, on Friday, May 16, at which time and place all
proposals received will be opened and read aloud. All bidders are invited to be present. Your
presence is not required for consideration of award. Proposals may be emailed or mailed or
delivered to the attention of Pam McGee at the above address. Faxed proposals are not
acceptable.
Emailed proposals should not be considered by vendor to have been delivered until an
acknowledgement of receipt of the proposal is sent to vendor by Pam McGee. It is the vendor’s
responsibility to ensure receipt of emailed proposals.
Barrow County reserves right to postpone bid opening to later the same day beyond original due
date/time in event of delay of mail services. Once time has been called and the first proposal
has been opened, any proposals received thereafter will be returned unopened. Proposals may
not be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the date of receipt of bid. Barrow County
Schools reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality in bidding.

available, whichever is in the best interest of the school system.
