Terms and Conditions
Prices
Cancellation
All prices included within this document are suggested retail
prices.
Orders in production cannot be cancelled unless written
approval is received from Logiflex. A minimum cancellation
charge of 25% is applicable in all cases.
Terms
Net 30 days from date of invoice for customers with an
established credit. An amount of 2% interest per month will
be applied on all overdue account after 30 days. Merchandise
will be invoiced at the time of shipment. All overdue
accounts are COD unless credit has been established. No
shipment will be made to past due accounts. Accounts
with outstanding balances due to returned checks or past
due accounts placed for collection will not be shipped
merchandise until all balances and charges are paid in full.
Returns
No returns will be accepted without prior written
authorization. Returns are subject to a minimum 25%
restocking and handling charge which will be deducted from
credit. The freight must be prepaid by the customer.
Modifications
All modifications on new orders need to be done no later
than 24 hours of receiving it.
Freight and delivery
All prices contained herein are suggested retail prices - FOB
factory, Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. Any and all freight
conditions or arrangements other than the above must
be authorized in writing by Logiflex and will be limited to
conditions agreed upon. Deliveries to be forwarded to the
dealer / distributor store or warehouse only. Shipments
with requested delivery other than above are subject to an
extra fee as charged by the carrier. Any delay at your docking
facility could also call for an extra fee for which you could be
requested to pay directly to the carrier.
Warranty
Logiflex guarantees all its products against all manufacturing defects, under normal conditions, for a period of five (5) years. This
warranty applies only to the original owner of the product and must have been purchased from an authorized Logiflex distributor.
The warranty does not apply to claims resulting from the following:
• normal wear
• modification, transformation, repair or renovation not authorized by Logiflex
• renting to a third party
• normal defects in leather such as:
- scars, marks
- difference in stain within a leather skin or between different skins.
This warranty covers repair or replacement; it does not cover the cost of transportation.

Production Specifications
Upholstery yardage calculation
The COM fabrics are based on the first price range. A
sample of COM fabric must be sent to Logiflex for approval
before the order can be accepted. COM fabrics are used at
the client’s risk and are not covered by the Logiflex warranty.
COM fabrics must be delivered to our factory, shipping,
custom duties and brokerage fees “prepaid” with the
following information provided: fabric description, number of
yards delivered, order number, client name. If the fabric is
delivered directly from the manufacturer Logiflex reserves
the right to refuse any fabric that does not comply with the
informations mentioned above.
Yardage is calculated in yards assuming that upholstery is
54" wide with no pattern.
Additional yardage may be needed if the upholstery is less
than 54" wide, if there is a pattern repeat or if it is shipped
in separate pieces. Please consult the following table in
order to know the percentage of extra yardage required. The
repeat of the pattern is calculated by adding up the horizontal
and vertical repeat measurements.

Please note that the warranty does not apply on leather’s natural imperfections, such as: scars, marks, and difference in stain
within a leather skin or different skins. This specification also applies for standard leather GR5 and Italian leather GR6 and up.

FLAMMABILITY STANDARDS TO TECHNICAL BULLETIN
117 (STATE OF CALIFORNIA)
The Celcor foam used meets or exceeds the California
Technical Bulletin 117 norms.
FLAMMABILITY STANDARDS TO TECHNICAL BULLETIN
133 (STATE OF CALIFORNIA)
Technical Bulletin CAL133 is a flammability test conducted
on a complete chair. The compliance of the entire product,
including covering, is acknowledged when a certificate
is issued by a licensed testing facility. Any change to the
finished product will required a retest. When a product must
pass the CAL133 test, Logilife seats must receive a nonflammable lining that, in combination with convenient foam
and upholstery, may enable products to meet certification
requirements. However, the use of the compliance method
does not ensure that a specific combination of product and
upholstery is certified as being CAL133 compliant.

The product assembly, test and certification cost is as
follows:

Non-flammable lining at $45 net per yard
Certification at a cost of $721 net per item
Cost of the product to be tested and freight to the
licensed testing facility
Please take note these costs apply whether the product
passes or fails the test. 4 to 8 weeks is typically needed
for the certification testing lead time. Logiflex cannot
ensure CAL133 certification of a combination of product
and upholstery that never passed the test. Please contact
your account manager for configurations of products and
upholstery that have been tested and certified.

The Velva brand polyurethane foam used in the manufacturing
of our armchairs is antibacterial.
Different densities exist and will vary from one armchair
model to the other. Medium-density foam is used for back
and seating parts, while the firmer-density foam is used for
armrest parts.

Fasteners
All modules with a kick plate sit on white nylon levelers.
All modules with a kick plate come with 2 fasteners to join to other
modules.
SEAMS
FOAM
All upholstered modules are finished with a single row of top stitching.
Velva firm density antibacterial foam is the foam used for upholstered
modules. Medium- or low-density foam can be specified for benches
only at no extra cost. To order medium-density foam, add “FOAM-M”
to the end of the product code; for low-density foam, add “FOAM-L”.
COMBINING FABRICS
COM FABRIC QUANTITIES
Different fabrics can be specified for the bench, back and privacy panel
of the same seat at no extra cost.
Example: Bench: J. ENNIS ORNAMENTAL #302 GR3 /
Back: J. ENNIS BALANCE #9009 GR1 /
Privacy panel: J. ENNIS WICKER #302 GR3.
The quantities of COM fabric to order for each piece of furniture are
indicated at the bottom of each of the product pages. Note that these
quantities are valid for fabrics whose pattern is 8" or less in width. If
your fabric pattern is wider than 8", the amount of fabric you need to
order may vary.
The price will be that of the highest-grade fabric chosen.

as leather and vinyl, is not recommended for the Sit collection except
for major projects, where we will need a sample for approval prior to
the order. If you would like to use vinyl or leather, please consult:

catalyzed lacquer.
