Amber PROBLEM: Modern diesel engines that utilize high pressure fuel injection to maximize power, increase efficiency and minimize harmful exhaust emissions generate tremendous heat which causes the diesel fuel to thermally degrade. This leads to deposit-fouled injectors and black residue that plugs fuel filters. The result is dramatic loss of power, hard-starts and potential engine damage. Cold weather presents yet another impediment to proper engine function as it promotes fuel waxing and substantial loss of fuel lubricity. SOLUTION: BG DFC Plus HP for High Pressure Diesel Injection Systems provides unsurpassed fuel system protection when high operating temperatures and pressures are encountered. It prevents the formation of the soot-black fuel byproducts that plug filters and build deposits. BG DFC Plus HP keeps injectors clean, prevents fuel gelling, corrects nozzle fouling, reduces exhaust smoke and protects engine parts against corrosion. It contains a lubricity agent for protection against low-sulfur diesel fuel. DFC Plus HP prevents entrained moisture from icing. It mixes readily with all diesel fuels and is an excellent fuel storage stabilizer. This diesel fuel additive complies with the Federal low-sulfur content requirements for use in diesel motor vehicles. Catalytic converter, diesel particulate filter and oxygen sensor safe. Contains no alcohol. USAGE: Add to each tank of fuel. One quart (946 mL) of BG DFC Plus HP treats 250 gallons (950 liters) or 1 gallon (4 liters) BG DFC Plus HP treats 1,000 gallons (3,800 liters) of fuel. For maximum results, treat fuel before temperature drops below freezing. Do not store at temperatures below –5°F (–21°C).
