11. An account of publicity before and during the CAFT programme:
The 29th CAFT Course in Dairy Processing on “ADVANCES IN TECHNOLOGY,
QUALITY AND SAFETY OF FUNCTIONAL DAIRY FOODS” was conceived and
prepared in March 2014 and submitted to ICAR for approval in March 2014. The course was
approved in April 2014 and as soon as it was approved a detailed downloadable brochure
was prepared and put on the Institute website, CAFT in dairy processing website as well as
CAFT capacity building vortal. Banners were also installed in the publicity umbrella of the
Institute in front of the main gate. Approximately 120 brochures were sent via surface and
email to various SAUs, ICAR Institutes and KVKs.
