Sealed tenders are invited under Double bid system containing Part-I (Technical, commercial,
General Conditions & Part-II (Price Bid) from experienced contractors / firms for the Reconditioning of
Gear Box KBH-280 of Elecon Make of Elecon feeder breaker of Gondegaon OCM.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reconditioning of Gear Box KBH-280 of Elecon Make of Elecon feeder breaker of Gondegaon OCM.
Scope of work
1) Primary machining / boring of Bearing Seating Input Pinion Shaft (for three Bearing ) - 03 Nos.
2) Material filling by steel welding electrodes 680 – 1.5 Kg.
3) Final boring as per the O.D. of Bearing - 01 Job
4) Primary boring at the Intermediate shaft Bearing housing for 2 Bearing – 02 Nos.
5) Material Build up steel welding electrode 680 – 0.5 Kg.
6) Final boring as per bearing O.D. - 01 Job
7) Providing and fitting New Bevel Gear &Input Pinion Shaft – 01 Set
8) Loading, unloading and handling charges – 01 Job
9) Replacement of nut bolt, washer and oil seal – 01 Job
• Estimate Value : Rs. 1,31,866/- (Including Taxes)

Terms & Conditions :
• Experience of having successfully completed similar nature of work during last 7 years ending last
day of month previous to the one in application are invited should be either of the following :
a) Three similar completed work costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the estimated cost.
OR
b) Two similar completed work costing not less than the amount equal to 50% of the estimated amoun
OR
c) One similar completed work costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of the estimated cost.

Tenderer should inspect the job thoroughly at site on any working day before offering
the
rates, no additional job will be considered after complete the work.
g)
Management reserves the right to accept or reject the work without assigning any reason what
so ever.
III) Guarantee/Warranty : 06 Monthsshall be given by the tenderer.

Earnest money shall have to be deposited in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “WESTERN
COALFIELDS LTD, Gondegaon Sub Area” on any Nationalised Banks or scheduled commercial Banks (whose
Branches are located at Nagpur) payable at Nagpur.
The cost of the tender document, if purchased from the office, should be paid in cash with the cashier in
ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT,WCL.GONDEGAON SUB AREA or in the form of DEMAND DRAFT
drawn in favour of “ WESTERN COALFIELDS LTD, GONDEGAON SUB AREA” on any
Nationalised Banks or Scheduled commercial Banks (whose Branches are located at Nagpur) payable at
Nagpur.
