Cockroach Bait combines an attractive food source with
a potent active ingredient.

Domino Effect
Topbait Gel Cockroach Bait contains a highly potent
active ingredient called fipronil. Foraging cockroaches
then consume the cockroach bait containing fipronil,
ensuring it is widely transmitted throughout the colony,
producing a domino effect.
Lab and field trials show that fipronil is transferred from
one cockroach to the next as cockroaches in
harbourages will readily eat dead individuals or the
faeces of individuals that have ingested Topbait Gel
Cockroach Bait.
How to use
Topbait Gel Cockroach Bait
Topbait Gel Cockroach Bait contains 0.05% fipronil in a highly
palatable and stable gel bait. It is supplied in 35 g syringe cartridge,
each containing sufficient cockroach gel to produce more than
1000 standard 0.03 g spots and kill over a million German
cockroaches.
Open carton, take the Syringe out, remove cap and press plunger
to apply the Topbait Gel Cockroach Bait to your required spot
size, when you have finished replace the cap and place the Syringe
back into the carton.
0.03 g Topbait Gel Cockroach Bait spot is approximately
3-4 mm across.
Recommended application rates
Apply 1-3 spots per m2. Recommended spot size is 0.03-0.06g.
Increase the number of spots (up to 3) and spot size depending on
the severity of the infestation and species present.
Active Ingredient
Topbait Gel Cockroach Bait contains fipronil, from a unique
and highly effective group of insecticides –
the phenylpyrazoles.
Their effect is based on the inhibition of the gamma
aminobutyric-acid receptor. The absence of the effect of the
receptor causes an uncoordinated hyperexcitation of the nerve
cells followed by death.
