GREATER EGG HARBOR REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP
DUAL CREDIT PROGRAM
2014-2015
The Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District offers the opportunity for students in selected courses to acquire
college credits through articulation agreements with the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Students who enroll in
dual credit courses may be eligible to receive high school credits along with college credits, provided all program
requirements are met. Dual credit courses are offered at the high school and are taught by GEHRHSD faculty members.
Teachers from the high schools work closely with Stockton faculty to align their classes to Stockton’s courses. The
courses are taught by qualified high school teachers at their home schools as part of their teaching assignment. Qualified
students taking the high school class(es) will enroll in the equivalent Stockton course(s) as a non-matriculated student and
receive Stockton credit if they earn the grade of C or above. Each student pays a nominal tuition of $100 per academic
credit and is not charged any Stockton fees. This represents a 75% savings if the same course was taken on the Stockton
campus.
Parents interested in the Dual Credit Program should complete the attached Dual Credit Parent/Guardian
Permission Form which will allow students to complete the application and registration process in school. This
form should be returned to one of your child’s high school dual credit teachers by October 10, 2014.
All applications, registrations and payments will be completed electronically.
