BIOGRAPHY
Irene Guz, B.A.
Country Head Covance Israel
Irene Guz is a Senior Manager at Covance Israel. She acts as Country Head with
responsibility over Clinical and CoSource Operations.
Irene joined Covance in 2006 as a contractor sCRA. She contributed in establishing and
then driving Covance operations in Israel. Two years later with the registration of Covance’s
legal entity, Irene was employed as Senior Manager assuming greater responsibility and
consolidating the presence of Covance in Israel.
Before joining Covance, Irene worked at Agis Pharmaceuticals Industries as executive
assistant to the VP, being promoted two years later to Quality and Logistics Manager at
Pharma Clinical (Bayer’s Israel Clinical Department). Irene also acted as sCRA at Pharma
Clinical and PPD.
Prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry Irene worked as a journalist.
Irene earned a B.A degree from the Tel Aviv University in Sociology and Anthropology and
in English Literature.
