have been a supplier of custom AC and DC backup power systems for more
than 25-years. Our systems have been successfully deployed across the globe
in many different industries, including: telecom, petrochemical, alternate energy,

Engineered DC
backup systems:
Through the integration of our wide range of battery technologies,
battery chargers and customizable battery racks we are able to provide
complete, reliable, low cost industrial backup power solutions for many
small, medium and large-scale applications.
Battery systems:
Batteries are the vital link in providing reliable power at critical times. MTI
provides a large selection of Nickel-Cadmium and Lead Acid batteries
– each optimized for specific commercial and industrial applications,
and properly sized according to end user’s specifications and current
governing standards.
Chargers:
Two decades of development and research has yielded a charger
line that incorporates the right mix of digital and power electronics
technologies for added efficiency, reliability, and durability. User friendly
controls allow the user to easily adjust parameters, whereby the LCD
display allows for easy monitoring and status updates.
Our robust SCR charger line has been coupled with state of the art
Switchmode technology rectifiers to provide our customers with the
options and features that are right for them.
Racks:
Battery rack assemblies can be adjusted and customized to fit all
battery cells or blocks; they feature a rugged and sturdy design that
can be engineered to fit virtually any space requirements. MTI’s battery
racks are available in standard or UBC Seismic rated designs. Spill
containment systems are also available.
Engineered AC
systems:
Standard and customized AC UPS back up power systems range from
10kVA to 650KVA and are designed and manufactured to ensure reliable
protection of critical loads in various industrial applications.

MTI Systems’ unique SCR rectifier incorporates a double wound isolation
transformer to provide regulated DC output and current limiting capabilities. Multi
output-filtering configurations are available to match specific load requirements.
Boasting a typical MTBF of 300,000 hours and typical MTTR is less than 1 hour.
MTI’s user friendly digital display encompasses user definable controls and alarm
set-points, allowing for easy customization and adjustments.
The Digital Multilingual Display delivers all the necessary charger information to
your fingertips. The display menu is the standard link between the operator and all
monitoring controls & alarms. All set points for control and alarm parameters are
user-definable and adjustable.
MTI Systems’ chargers are capable of operating in a battery eliminator function.
MTI’s chargers are manufactured to comply with ISO, UL, CE, CSA and EMC
standards.

Lomain Translucent Nickel Cadmium Batteries provides a 20 year lifetime without
the need of water filling caused by a special single cell design and the valve
regulated venting system. Lomain cells are equipped with a low pressure flame
arresting vent with which topping up is possible if required. With a recombination
rate up to 90%, depending on the floating voltage and ambient conditions, Lomain
gives a minimum of maintenance available in the current market.

provide reliable battery power for many industrial and utility applications. The individual cells and blocks are enclosed in translucent plastic containers which are

The Infinity is an online double conversion UPS that
adopts the transformerless technology with low harmonic
distortion. Thanks to the IGBT rectifier the input power
harmonics (THDi) are lower than 5%. The experience
of our engineers allowed to design a very flexible UPS
with a small footprint. It’s available both single phase
output version (Infinity 3100) available capacity from 10
to 20 KVA) and also for three phase output loads (Infinity
3300) available capacity from 10 to 20 KVA. This UPS
has a performance that is ideal for the protection of data
centers in hospitals, banks and offices.
The Planet E & Halley E (Evolution) series represent
the most sold series of our product world-wide. In
these years since the extension from 20 to 160 KVA it
has almost become the synonym of Astrid. It’s a very
reliable product of great flexibility. The Evolution Series
has excellent overloading features that are ideal for
the protection of office workstations, the control of
production lines, data processing centers and critical
servers.
As well as being a reliable product it is in fact compatible
with an extensive set of communications interfaces.
The THETYS range utilizes state of the art technology
which provides high power with a compact foot print. The
IGBT based rectifier offers a power factor corrected and
low harmonic distortion input with a wider input voltage
tolerance window and capacity available from 60 to 160
KVA. Its robust mechanical and electrical structure makes
the THETYS the ideal choice for servers, data rooms and
control centers as well as power plants and off-shore
platforms.
