Dr. Ho has been involved in studies of automatic sprinklers, fire services systems and utility
services. He has been leading projects in studying water supply and drainage systems,
heated wind tunnel testing for thermal responses of fire sprinklers and heat detectors, HVAC
loading estimation studies using building information model, studies on fire services
strategies for the disabled, and heat and energy recovery studies in water supply systems.
Dr. Ho has also assisted in many other activities like organizing the “Indoor Air 2014 – The
13th International Conference on Indoor Air Quality and Climate” hosted by the Department
