Meditech is a well-established British based manufacturer
which has been manufacturing breathing circuits and
respiratory products for many years. The Meditech AIRWAY
product range offers excellent value for money and is
designed to meet the high quality standards of the market.
Meditech adult breathing circuits are validated for 7 day
use (please see Instructions for Use). To further assist with
change frequency and traceability, a novel Time Strip with
space to add product batch number, user name and date
of change can be added with each adult breathing circuit,
should this be requested. For a Time Strip in each adult
breathing circuit, simply add a post-fix (-TS) to all adult
breathing circuit codes.
Also, as an additional option, Silver Sentinel antimicrobial
protection can be provided for further cross contamination
control – the antimicrobial concentrate in Silver Sentinel
has been successfully validated against over 50 common
organisms including MRSA,E.coli, Salmonella, Listeria,
Pseudomonas and Aspergillus niger. Antimicrobial
activity inhibits bacterial proliferation and typically shows
>99.9% reduction within 24 hours. The controlled release
of silver ions provides long-term activity of the antimicrobial.
For Silver Sentinel protection, simply add a post-fix (-AM)
to all adult breathing circuit codes.
