Welcome
I am delighted to welcome you all to Manchester and Europe’s only live
robotic hair surgery workshop. FUE continues to gain enormous popularity
and it’s only natural that technology moves forward in response to popular
trends. Both Farjo and our sponsor, ARTAS and Restoration Robotics, hope
that this workshop will continue to be inspiring.
In addition to Farjo associated surgeons,
I am honoured to have with us Dr
Vincenzo Gambino, the current president
of the International Society of Hair
Restoration Surgeons (ISHRS), and Dr
James Harris from Colorado. Dr Harris has
enormous experience with FUE and was a
major contributor to the development of
the ARTAS robot. I hope you will all benefit
from the skill, knowledge and experience
on offer.
Finally, please make sure you take the time
to explore our famous city and this region
of the United Kingdom. My staff and I will
be pleased to assist you in any way we can.
Bessam Farjo MB ChB
Workshop Host and Programme Chair
Restoration Robotics is proud to be a major sponsor and supporter of
Europe’s only live robotics surgery workshop. When Restoration Robotics
was founded and the ARTAS system was first conceptualized, it has been
our goal and vision to help advance the field of hair transplantation. We are
constantly seeking to further develop this field through innovation and
robotics. We are striving to provide a less invasive treatment option while
assisting in producing the best possible patient outcomes.
It is a great honor to have this opportunity to
be working with Dr. Bessam Farjo, Dr. Nilofer
Farjo and other members of this internationally
acclaimed and renowned staff at this special
educational event.
We hope this education experience helps
physicians identify new and alternative
approaches to this exciting field of hair
transplantation.
The Farjo’s are wonderful hosts, and Manchester
is a great place for sports, fine dining and
friendly people.
