Miguel G Canales, MD USA Dr. Canales brought proven expertise in surgical procedure development and market adoption to the company when he joined Restoration Robotics in October 2005, after more than five years at Intuitive Surgical, Inc., the market leader in surgical robotics. At Intuitive Surgical, he was Director of Marketing/Director of Clinical Development where he was instrumental in identifying, developing and launching successful robotic surgical procedures such as radical prostatectomy, and hysterectomy. Dr. Harris’ practice, The Hair Sciences Center of Colorado, is limited exclusively to follicular unit hair transplantation and follicular unit extraction. He has authored, “The Hair Replacement Revolution: A Consumer’s Guide to Effective Hair Replacement Techniques.” Dr. Harris has patented a surgical methodology and instrumentation for performing rapid follicular unit extraction that ensures graft integrity. The method is the Harris SAFE System® and the technique has been demonstrated at live surgery workshops worldwide. He is also the principal investigator and consultant for Restoration Robotics. Greg Williams, FRCS Plast, Manchester & London, United Kingdom Greg is a full time hair transplant surgeon with Farjo Hair Institute. He is a Plastic Surgeon obtaining his plastic surgery fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS Plast). Prior to joining the Farjo Hair Institute, Dr Williams was the Senior Consultant Burn Surgeon at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. He was also the Clinical Director of the London and South East of England Burn Care Network. Dr Williams developed an interest in hair restoration surgery when treating patients with severe burns and post traumatic or post surgical hair loss. He gained his early experience in hair transplant techniques in Brazil and Toronto before spending almost a decade doing transplants both in the NHS for reconstructive cases and in the private sector.
