Amanda has three years of clinical experience in urology. Her primary focus has been on female urology, voiding dysfunction, and female sexual dysfunction. Amanda will assist in treatment of voiding dysfunction, and will provide pelvic floor rehabilitation therapy – among many other responsibilities working with HMU patients. She will be collaborating with Gilad Filmar, M.D., to begin evaluating and providing treatment options for patients with female sexual dysfunction. “We are excited to welcome Amanda to our clinical team at HMU. Our patients will really enjoy working with and learning from her,” Dr. Filmar said. Amanda also will help Houston Metro Urology establish an androgen deprivation treatment clinic, which will allow us to provide a comprehensive approach when treating our patients with advanced prostate cancer.
