Transportation of transformers from China to Kazakhstan.
Scope of work: Globalink China supervised the loading and lashing at
origin; Globalink Projects Team arranged delivery to destination on low
bed trailers; Globalink Dostyk controlled the offloading and subsequent reloading onto the waiting rail wagons; Globalink’s Customs Clearance
specialists cleared the cargo at the border.
Helicopters from Germany to Kazakhstan.
Globalink’s Air Freight Department handled an urgent delivery of
helicopters to Astana, Kazakhstan. Though there were no direct flights,
Globalink obtained permission from the Aviation Authorities to divert one of
the regular flights from Luxembourg to Almaty via Astana. Upon arrival,
Globalink Packers and Loaders Team offloaded the cargo, and Customs
Department handled clearance procedures immediately.
Transportation of mills from China to Kazakhstan.
The total weight of each mill was about 650 tons. Globalink’s Industrial
Projects Packing Team packed and crated the cargo, and secured it on
trucks. Globalink in-house Customs Brokerage team swiftly completed the
clearance and certification process at the Sino-Kazakh border. At
destination, mills were offloaded and prepared for installation operations.

Military Equipment from Europe to Mongolia
Globalink transported 19 vehicles and four 40' foot containers of military
equipment by rail from Estonia to Ulan Bator, Mongolia via Russia. Globalink
obtained necessary permits and documents for transportation of cargo as
well as arranged an escort of armed guards.
Transformers from Turkey to Kazakhstan
Scope of work: trucking from Turkey to Georgia; customs clearance at
Georgian border; trucking through the territory of Gerogia; reloading of cargo
onto vessels in Baku, Azerbaijan for the journey across the Caspian Sea to
Aktau, Kazakhstan. At Aktau Port, cargo was reloaded onto trucks for
delivery to job site.
Aircraft engines from Uzbekistan to Singapore
Globalink’s Tashkent Team handled the delivery of aviation equipment from
Uzbekistan to Singapore. The scope of work: packing, loading/reloading,
lashing, trucking and air chartering. Globalink Tashkent delivered the engines
by trucks to Navoi Airport, Uzbekistan. Globalink's Air Chartering Team then
arranged for a Boeing 747-400 to be waiting at Navoi Airport. All in all it took
under a day to pick, pack and dispatch the cargo to Singapore.

Primary Crushers from Spain to Kazakhstan.
Total weight of equipment was 220 tons. Globalink's scope of work included
loading, crating, sea freight, road freight to destination and customs
clearance. From Spain, project vessel was chartered to the off-loading Port
in Russia. There the cargo was reloaded onto low-bed trailers for further
delivery to destination.
Machinery Transportation from Europe to Armenia.
Globalink Tbilisi delivered machinery equipment from Spain to Armenia. The
cargo, with a total weight of 500 tons, was custom cleared at Poti Port.
Loaders and packers reloaded it using cranes onto trucks, and Globalink
Road Freight specialists undertook the final leg from Poti to final destination in
Yerevan on low-bed trailers.
Pipeline Delivery from Italy to Iraq.
Globalink delivered a staggering total of 5369 truck loads (1222 trucks for
SCOP and 4147 trucks for SOC) from Taranto, Italy to Umm Qasr Port, Iraq. A
massive project with Globalink monitoring each aspect of the project from
loading, lashing, unloading, customs clearance, reloading on trucks,
temporary storage and door delivery.
