cost effective solution to today’s diverse demands. Complete with adaptable collars for 4”, 5”, and 6” duct sizes, with the
COMBI you always have the correct size fan!
Ventilation Guidelines
For bathrooms up to 100 square feet, HVI recommends that an exhaust fan provide 1 CFM per square foot
(approximately eight air changes per hour) to properly ventilate the bathroom.
For bathrooms above 100 square feet, HVI recommends a ventilation rate based on the number and type
of fixtures present:
Toilet
Shower
50 CFM
50 CFM
Bath Tub 50 CFM
Jetted Tub 100 CFM
Note: Enclosed toilet rooms must have an
operable window or fan for ventilation.
Example: Bathroom contains: 1 toilet + 1 Shower + 1 Whirlpool Tub = 200 CFM
We recommend the use of insulated flex duct. Always check local building codes for requirements.
