Clinical Workshop of Telemetric ICP-Monitoring
Since January 2010 there is a
new telemetric ICP monitoring
system available. This system is
the first which allows long-term
ICP monitoring even at home.
The direct measurement of intraJoachim Oertel
cranial pressure during normal
daily activities over days or even weeks gives us
absolutely unprecedented insights into illness and
disease pathologies. Our intention for this workshop
is to share and discuss our experiences with this new
diagnostic tool. We expect telemetric ICP monitoring
to be an integral part of neurosurgery in the future.
