DTFLOCK is a new range of product featuring a unique internal thread form that is exceptionally resistant to
transverse vibration – the primary cause of thread loosening.
With a 30° wedge ramp, the DTFLOCK thread form firmly grips a standard male thread tightly against it when a
clamping torque is applied, preventing the shifting of the male thread from its clamped position, thereby
reducing loosening under vibratory and other extreme operating conditions. With DTFLOCK, it is not necessary to
have secondary locking methods or components such as thread adhesives and lock washers.

Junker Vibration Test shows the exceptional resistance of DTFLOCK nut to vibrational loosening, vis-à-vis other

In non-nut applications, the same advantages can be enjoyed when the DTFLOCK taps are used to create
internally threaded holes with the DTFLOCK thread profile. It may also be implemented in self-clinching products
for sheet metals.
