Arista Biologicals Inc., founded in 1993 by Dr.
John Colanduoni, is a leading manufacturer and
supplier of rapid diagnostic reagents and
equipment. Our technical staff has extensive

Consultation Services
Consultation services are available to customers who already have their own assay technology
developed, and require specific assistance or guidance in developing or improving their existing
technology.
Arista Biologicals Inc. has extensive experience in developing assays for infectious disease,
hormones, drugs of abuse, therapeutic drugs, environmental assays, and many other types of
analytes.
Please contact us with your specific requirements and we will be happy to provide a proposal for
your consideration.
Feasibility Studies
Our feasibility study service is for customers who wish to develop a specific assay. Feasibility
studies are ideal for development of new assays, customization of existing assays or outsourcing
the development work for proprietary antigens or antibodies.
This type of study is a simple and cost effective way to determine if available reagents are capable
of being developed into a working lateral flow assay. Arista Biologicals Inc. has extensive experience developing all types of lateral flow assays using industry standard manufacturing equipment,
combining great potential for successful development with a high level of transferability.
Feasibility studies can be performed in as little as two weeks. Reagents can be either supplied by
the customer or sourced by Arista Biologicals Inc. Feasibility studies are billed 50% in advance and
50% following the successful completion of the assay.
Custom Purification
Arista Biologicals has extensive experience with antibody purification. We offer custom
purification service for customers who require affinity, Protein A, or other types of protein
purifications for monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies. In close consultation with our client, we
determine the best method to target the desired purity, yield and cost, specific to your application.
We can follow an existing protocol customized to your specifications. Typical purification service
takes 1-2 weeks to complete, depending on the purification method chosen.
If your application requires an antibody of extremely high purity, an affinity support from your
antigen is prepared and used for affinity chromatography. Our technical staff can conjugate even
the most difficult antigen to purification support columns.

Custom Services
Custom Gold Conjugation
Custom conjugation service of your antibody or protein is available for optimization. For the initial
pilot conjugation, we require at least two milligrams to perform a thorough optimization, although
we have been successful with as little as 200 micrograms in some cases. Please contact us for
pricing.
Custom Antigen Conjugation
Arista Biologicals Inc. offers custom hapten synthesis and modification along with coupling to a variety of proteins, including
Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA), Cationized BSA, Blue Protein, Bovine
Thyroglobulin (BTG), and other proteins. We offer strategic
regioselective point of attachment and modified linkers.
All conjugation procedures will be on a custom basis, directed
specifically to the haptens, the enzymes, or the carrier proteins.
They may be matched to your existing antibodies by modifying
the strength, the position or the linker of the conjugate. Arista’s
turnaround time from receiving client’s material is two to three
weeks.

Enzyme Substrates
One Component TMB Substrates for Microwell & Membrane Applications
Arista now offers high quality single component substrate solutions for use in both
microwell (solutions) and membrane or other surfaced based formates (precipitating).
These substrate solutions are stable in solution for extended periods of time and require
no mixing prior to use. No need to continue paying high prices for these types of

A-Point Guillotine Cutter
The Guillotine Cutter is designed for cutting assembled
test cards into finished strips for packaging and sale.
Simply designed and easy to operate this machine is
ideal for R&D and production applications. The operator
can easily select between pre-programmed and adjustable cutting widths with the flip of a switch on the
original model and by using the interface on the advanced model.
The Guillotine Cutter is a cost effective piece of equipment every production facility should include as a
