Biography – Dr. D.R. Levent GUNER- Session 2B- Navigational Equipment/System Alignment
Dr. D.R. Levent Güner graduated from Aerospace Engineering Department of Middle East Technical
University, Turkey in 2000. He received his Phd. Degree from Mechanical Engineering Department in
2012 on improvement of INS performance in GNSS denied environments. He also holds BS degrees
on İnternational Relations and Public Administration. Since 2000, He is working as a systems design
engineer in Navigation and Guidance Systems Design Department of ASELSAN and participated in
integration of inertial navigation systems on air/land and naval vessels in major projects of Turkish
Navy, including MILGEM corvette, NTPB, cost guard search and rescue vessel, and several frigate/FPB
modernizations.
