Pilot Description

This pilot aims to support practices in
connecting with Colorado Access RCCO
pediatric patients (ages 0 through 21st
birthday) to schedule a well-child visit
— The primary focus is Colorado Access
RCCO pediatric patients who have not
had a well-child visit within the last year
as per SDAC data

An interactive voice response (IVR) call will
be made using the phone number on file for
the family of the child in need of a well-child
visit

your practice (warm transfer) to schedule to
a well-child visit
The IVR call pacing can be reduced if your
practice is receiving too many warm transfers
to adequately accommodate
Provide a phone number for the patient’s

Colorado Access RCCO Well-Child IVR Call
Campaign Script
Kids grow up fast – and our primary job is to keep them healthy.
As a part of your Medicaid benefit, well-child exams are no cost to you and can
actually save your family money. Our records show that at least one of your
children may be due for a well-child exam. This visit can provide you with what is
needed for your child’s school or daycare. You can also get your sports physical at
the same time, free of charge to you.
Kids growth and development change rapidly – so it is important for your child to
visit the doctor at least once a year to check their overall health. A checkup with
the doctor will assure you that everything is well with your child’s health. Along
with a general exam, the doctor will check growth and development milestones,
as well as vision and hearing.
