We are proud to announce this fall’s line-up of school sponsored afterschool clubs.
These clubs are intended to enrich our students’ overall educational experience and align with our efforts to develop the whole child.

Study Hall

Study Hall will be a quiet place for
students to start homework and to
work independently. Monitors are
not tutors. Parents shall take
responsibility for their child’s
completion of homework.

*For these sections, students will need to be in A+ After School Care (Kamaaina Kids) or supervised by parents immediately after school until the start of
the class to ensure supervision.
DURATION, ELIGIBILITY & COST: Most classes start the week of September 29, 2014, with the exception of Choir, which starts the week of
October 20, 2014. The end date for all classes is the week of December 8, 2014. Classes are for Koko Head Elementary School students only. All classes
are free. Classes held during the Parent Teacher Conference window of October 21-31, will have the start and end time
moved up 1 hour.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
1.
Select up to three classes, NOT three sections of three classes. Example: A parent can sign-up for Study Hall on
Mon., Mandarin on Tues., iXL/KibBiz 3000 labs on Wed. A parent cannot sign-up for Study Hall on Mon., Tues., and iXL/KizBiz 3000 on
Wed. and Choir on Fri. (that’s five total classes, not three). Every effort will be made to accommodate at least one of the three classes so as
to allow us to serve as many students as possible. We do not guarantee admission to any of our afterschool classes. The final class offering
schedule is subject to change.
2.
Submit bottom form to the Office, not to your child’s teacher, by 4:00PM September 4, 2014. Students will be wait-listed after
classes are full.
3.
Registration notifications are targeted to go home via Take Home Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014
ATTENDANCE and CHAPTER 19: Students will be expected to commit to the weekly schedule. After 3 unexcused absences, students
may be removed from the class. Also, students are subject to Chapter 19 and may be dismissed from classes due to student misconduct.
