The BRAGECRIM initiative
BRAGECRIM
Brazilian - German Collaborative Research Initiative in
Manufacturing: 355 members in 16 collaborative projects
Main Objective: Highest Level in Production Technology – High
Level Innovation, Time to Market, Cost, Quality, Productivity and
High degree of Efficiency, Sustainability
FOCUS:
Networking of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) for competitive
remanufacturing
 Objective: facilitate remanufacturing in networks
 Target: SME companies, active or interested by remanufacturing, in Brazil and
Europe.
 Solution: provide a set of business models using a guideline structure

Conclusion and discussion
Successes
 Very encouraging comments from both academic and industrial members
 Present an alternative to consulting services for SMEs
 Useful tool to obtain a global overview of the implementation of remanufacturing in a PSS
context.
Improvement axis
 Dimensions definition order should be left open to the user
 Automatic completion of the templates for the attributes section
 Users should contribute to the constant evolution of the website content
