JUNE Sunday 1st PLs First Aid training emergency Aid 4 to be held at the Den 0900 to 1500. Sunday 15th Church Service at the Den 1045 for 1100 uniform. This will be followed by the Group open day. Details to follow. Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd Troop weekend Camp at Belchamps letters have been sent out. Further information to follow. Enquires contact ASL Chris Grover who is arranging the camp. There will be no troop meeting on the 20th.. Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th Sea Water Activity programme. . Sunday 29th Duty Patrol Penguins 1030 at the Den. Leigh Folk Festival will be held in the Old Town the road will be closed all day. JULY Sunday 6th Potential Ray Day. Details to follow. Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th See Water Activity.13th Duty Patrol Seagulls Sunday 20th Potential Ray Day Details to follow. AUGUST Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th See Water Activity Programme. Sunday 10th The Group will be having its Royal Yachting Association Inspection. This will involve all instructors at all levels .Those members required for this inspection will be contacted by Chris McHugh. . Details for the autumn programme will come out in August. Please note the Group’s Royal Navy Inspection will held on Saturday 11th October. This is a Very Important inspection carried out by Officer from the Royal Navy. Details will be sent out September. Any enquires contact Ian. Please be aware that all boating activities are subject to the weather conditions and can be canalled at short notice. Open Boating is for members who wish to go boating to improve their skills and have some fun. They are not RYA course where members can gain badges. Ray Days are where the boats are taken out to the Ray (where there is water all day), all types of boating take plus games are played. Details will be given out. If you are coming to the Den to go boating please bring a complete change of clothing, swimming shorts and a towel. Buoyancy Aids are provided and must be worn at all times when afloat.
