Bill Jackson has over twenty years of experience in handling a broad range of environmental litigation
and claims involving significant property damages, economic impacts, remediation costs, and natural
resource damages at sites from coast to coast.
Bill’s has experience in representing governmental entities, regulators, and trustee agencies – as well as
ports, railroads and private-sector clients – in some of the largest surface water and sediment cases in the
country. Currently, Bill is:

Serving as lead counsel for the State of New Jersey in the Passaic River litigation and related NRD
matters concerning the Diamond Alkali Superfund Site;
Representing the Jindal Administration in the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill;
Representing Union Pacific Railroad Company in NRD matters such as the Portland Harbor
Superfund Site and the Upper Clark Fork River Basin Superfund Site, in Butte/Anaconda, Montana;
and
Advising the Galveston Bay Foundation, on a pro bono basis, concerning the dioxin contamination
from the San Jacinto River Waste Pits Superfund Site in Galveston Bay.
