courses). Cancellations and refund requests can be made until 10 days prior to the date of the program for

IPM Hands-on Workshops
Courses rotate through locations on a six year cycle. Each workshop is two days. You must
attend both days. Classes run from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm each day. Workshops are limited to
60 participants and offer 12 WSDA credits.
Integrated Weed Management: Landscapes & Natural Areas

Learn about key plant characteristics and terms used in weed ID and try out your
weed recognition skills. Learn about IPM strategies for weed management. Noxious
weed management and WA law will also be discussed.

Pruning for Plant Health and Plant Problem Diagnosis & IPM

Learn pruning techniques for shrubs and trees to improve air circulation, light
penetration, and disease management. Develop hands-on diagnostic skills to use as
the first step in IPM.

Insect IPM and Pollinator Protection

Identify pest and beneficial arthropods; learn to use IPM for effective pest management; identify and safeguard pollinating insects; and get the latest news on colony
